NoemaLife plays an active role in initiatives and working groups designed to facilitate the integration of different systems, sharing operational and technological standards, in order that its software solutions - which have always complied with the main international quality standards - can guarantee the levels of application-related cooperation essential to the ICT side of Healthcare.
Since 1997, Organisational Consulting, Software Development, Servicing and Maintenance activities have been certified to ISO 9001, confirming the belief held by NoemaLife that continual pursuit of Quality is a key factor in meeting the needs, however complex, of its many customers.
In particular, NoemaLife is certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 (ISO 9001:2008), company-wide, for the following field of application:
"Organisational analysis and design in the healthcare sector; analysis, design, implementation, installation, distribution, service and maintenance of information systems and software packages in the healthcare sector".
NoemaLife S.p.A is also certified to UNI EN ISO 13485:2004 (ISO 13485:2004) for the following application:
"Maintenance of digital X-ray diagnostic systems. Design, development, installation and maintenance of software for managing, transmission and archiving of patient data and medical images. Design, development, installation and maintenance of software for automation of Clinical Laboratory".
In 2015 NoemaLife obtained ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for the following field of application: "Design, implementation and delivery of support and maintenance services for information systems and software products in the healthcare sector".
An Information Security Management System (ISMS) was therefore implemented, which aims to protect data and information from threats of all kinds, in order to ensure their integrity, confidentiality and availability. The objectives of the NoemaLife ISMS are set out in the Information Security Policy Document.
An ISMS which complies with the ISO 27001 standard is an internationally recognised tool which demonstrates that an organisation is capable of globally protecting its information assets. The standard allows the identification and constant updating of processes related to the control of physical, logical and organisational security.
NoemaLife's journey towards achieving ISO27001 certification was particularly significant, involving all business processes and calling into question every respective department. It was a real team effort!
In 2013, Solinfo, the Group company based in the Veneto region, obtained the following certifications, thanks to the high level of its corporate organisation:
These certifications reflect NoemaLife's ability to successfully respond to the stringent requirements of the most important tenders regarding ICT system management.
The Group operates a policy of gearing its design and implementation activities toward Open Standard systems and architectures, able to provide and support interoperability via the use of Services, thereby allowing the integration of single applications within the sphere of more complex processes (SOA, Web services, ESB).
Alongside this broad strategic activity, NoemaLife produces and provides specific interoperability solutions such as EIA (Enterprise Integration Application Engines), designed to favour the integration of systems both at management level and at the more hands-on operational level.
The ULD certification is the most important certificate for data protection and data security in Germany. The Privacy Seal is regulated by the Data Protection Act of Schleswig-Holstein. It certifies the compatability and compliance of a product with the regulations regarding privacy protection and data security. This is confirmed through an official certification process. The certificate is awarded by the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ICPP). The ICPP recommends that such certified products shall be given priority by public authorities and organisations.
